Alexia sighed as she walked through the Vampiri Held state of California some soldiers had demanded that she returned it to the Humans but her species needed a place to say as well she had tried her best to explain this but instead had been shot up by the lot of them. She guessed they did have a bit of a point but they didn't go about it the right way. Although she loved when they realized that their silver bullets weren't affecting her they had shot off her jaw and she still continued to speak politely to them. She regretted scaring them but hells they were gonna get themselves killed the way they were going. She glance back at feng mei her dear frined going out of her way to be helpful.

"Mei would you be a dear and go guard the front door of the sanctuary? In case someone comes around you'll easily notice them and you seem to get along with humans more than I do." Alexia finally asked looking at her friend and ally.

"Mam' Yes mam' I am the guardian of the gate after all!" The Chinese looking woman responded excitedly spinning on her heel and making her way to the gate Leaving the vampiri queen behind.

"Honestly I loved this job it's actually pretty relaxing you know? I get to rest as much as I like because those who know me know I sleep lightly and those that don't learn fast. Not a single person has gotten past me before I am proud to say." Feng Mei said to her partner in guarding the entrance a small man about five feet tall maybe. he nodded in response looking her over because he was sure she wasn't human despite her appearance. Feng Mei was easily six feet tall a bit taller maybe, no definitely. She had crimson hair and eye's and looked like she had walked out of China.

"So you've been at this for a while then huh?" he asked expecting maybe ten years under her belt.

"Couple thousand really," She responded looking straight ahead watching the only road that lead into California now. "I don't know what the year was when i started but I've been at it for so long it's in my bones..." The man was dumb founded but the woman was still staring straight ahead. "Look sharp someone is here." she said simply.

Amoroth popped up behind her in the shreadded remains of his unform. "Hey Mei!" amoroth said as she spun around in pure reaction and impacted his face with her fist. "I admit it... that hurts like a mother fucker. that's 3 to 125 times i snuck past you *Pft*" he said as he spat out another tooth.
"Don't fucking do that!" Mei yelled at him now seething with anger and annoyance.
"But it's fun, plus, it's better than being torn apart by selina..." he repllied as he turned and saw the tiny man. "New guy?"

"You didn't sneak past me I guard people who aren't suppose to get through you're a damned butler I'm suppose to allow you through! I was only startled because of your damn uniform go get a new one damnit I don't need to see that. Also yeah he's new for this post anyways. Nice guy for the confident type." She said not looking at Amoroth. Then her head jerked back up, "Damnit I knew I felt someone." She said sliding into a fighting stance.

"Well i guess you can handle it. i'm off to change before Rose knifes my ass." amoroth replied. then turning on his heel, he began to make his way back to the mansion. "By the way, I'm headed to the market in bit for stuff. Want me to bring you back something in particular?" he asked without looking back. "oh and new guy... good luck... you're gonna need every bit of it" he said as he broke out into an evil laugh, solely trying to fuck with him.

"Ignore him I'm not entirely sure why Alexia decieded to take him on as a butler maybe she thought she could fix that wierd brain of his," She said not looking back. "We should focus ahead someone is here I knw it but I can't tell...oh never mind it's him..." She said sounding bored as a large man became visible on the road. His golden hair and eye's shining like the sun itself in the sun's own setting.

"Hail Feng Mei! I've come to see Selina and Tell Alexia some more humans have come to bargain for Cali again." He said cheerfully a few human soldiers walking behind him looking pretty determined this time.

"Ahh Fraide well you can come right in but I must hold the Humans in the gate area until processed I apologize!" She called back, the younger gate guard looking stricken he knew she knew the procedure for new arrivals better than he but he she was letting an obviously dangerous person just waltz in like he belonged, it took the human guard a minute to realized that this was the Hellion, he matched the description perfectly, he had heard that Alexia and the Hellion were allies but actual friends? that second one seemed unlikely. He turned back and saw the displeased look on the other human's faces and sighed. They would just have to wait. In the meantime Mei had already begun chatting them up. "No really she's a softy she only acts tough because she's a leader you know? In fact she probably even agrees with you it's likely that she just can't actually force her own people to leave a safe haven that they died making."

"Well Maybe we can come to a compromise..." one of the human said sounding caught off guard. Feng Mei was being really friendly and it was getting to them.

"I hope so finding a solution that makes both parties happy is really the best way to go The vampiri don't want to go to war with the human's espescially not when the world is like this." She giggled the men were conflicted how to comune with her her friendliness was making them doubt themselves She was good.

Fraide passed Amoorth silently barely noticing the man he was mumbling to himself and sounding worried but Amoroth couldn't hear exactly what he was saying. It was clear Fraide was in a hurry though.

"Good to see you Ffraide." Amoroth said to the Perfect one as he entered the mansion. It was then, one of Rose's knives flew past his head.
"WHY ARE YOU NOT DRESSED?!" She screamed as she flung more knives at him.
"OH SHIT! RUN FFRAIDE! RUN!" Amoroth cried as he dodged the barrage of sharp pointy objects. Knowing what she would do to him, he created an image of himself dodging as he slipped by in the cover of the shadows he possessed. Please don't see me! please don't see me! he prayed to no one in particular as he slipped away into his room. just as he got away Rose's knives stuck into the fux amoroth and dissapated before her eyes.
"GODS DAMN IT!"

Rose was about to stab the next person she saw when she saw Fraide and did a double take. He wasn't suppose to be here yet. She put her knives up and disappeared likely using her reality altering powers to do so. Friade hadn't seemed to notice Rose rampage not that he often did Fraide's focus was usually somewhere else. WHy was he here though?

THe Large wolf walked towards Alexia with a purpose what that purpose was wasn't clear. Alexia however looked calmer than the servants who knew the man she waited patiently for him to stop in front of her and give her an burdened look.He sighed aloud then said it. "Olfrere was right.

"What?" Alexia asked obviously not pleased to hear Olfrere's name. she sat up straight and glared at the Hellion.

"There is something poisoning the earth it is the source of the 'carnates' Inu found that out during the cornfeild incident I beleive Aoife had a report for you?" Fraide replied simply ignoring her spiteful glare.

"...Yes she did...So there is literally something causing this? Not just a random evolution in the Earth? Well then all we need to do is find the source and cut it off." Alexia responded. She was pleased that the problem of the Carnates was something they could directly remove.

"easier said than done we have no idea where to start and the only ones who might...." He trailed off knowing she knew the answer already.

"Yes the Night terrors..." She murmured. "Doesn't Inu know one of their members? I believe he has met Jinx and my reports say she is exceptionally high in their ranks." Alexia mused her mind in full plan gear.

"Maybe but it will be difficult to get them together I am waiting for the kid to show up again and it looks like the Loup-gaurou are itching for a fight I may have to rely on your help soon." He said simply.

"Even for you My help isn't free my old friend." came Alxia's cold retort.

"I know." Fraide grinned.

Amoroth walked into Alexia's throne room, where he spotted Ffraide speaking to her. Amoroth stood there in his new uniform waiting for her to finish her conversation with sir perfect.

"Yes the Night terrors..." She murmured. "Doesn't Inu know one of their members? I believe he has met Jinx and my reports say she is exceptionally high in their ranks." Alexia mused her mind in full plan gear.

Jinx? She's still alive. amoroth thought as he over heared a section of the conversation.

"Fraide you know an allegiance with me will require you make a commitment," Alexia said giving Fraide a stern look. The Hellion sighed and looked back at the Vampiri queen.

"I keep telling you marriage means something completely different in my culture, even without this threat I've been thinking about I anyways...I don't mind having your Allegiance as a dowry 'Sis'." Fraide responded. Alexia moved forward in her seat her face that of pure shock, did Fraide really show signs of thinking he may not survive? Alexia sighed and waved her hand.

"Keep your word and I'll give you my full support." She said, then she smiled. "and if you can make it to the wedding I'll drive a ghoul army straight through the infected to your front door and bring it to you. Just because I don't approve of her choice doesn't mean I don't want her to be happy. She has improved a lot she is no longer so outright destructive now she can aim." Alexia laughed. Fraide grinned at this and nodded.

"Tell her the good news for me, I have to go back my people need me..." The old wolf said turning to leave. he paused for a second near amoroth. "Eaves dropping is rude, next time keep quiet your voice hit my ears like a train." Fraide said jokingly before leaving.

"Apologies Ffraide, i did not mean to. And Congrats, I shall tell her the news when i get back fro the market." Amoroth replied as a shiver went down his spine at the thought of rose gutting him for ruining this brand new uniform again when playing with Selina. "And I know what you mean... Lycans in wedlock is a whole different meaning." he continued as he waited for Alexia to address him.

"Thank you that should make her happy. Hearing it from a friend." he said leaving without another word.

"Amoroth!, Come here I have a job for you to do." Alexia's voice sounded she sounded distracted maybe aggitated, she was definitely impatient.

Amoroth imediatly straitened up and briskly approached her. "Yes milady" amoroth replied as he waited for her orders. most tasks given to him by her, were usually dangerous and were to likely get him killed. Gods, I hope she just wants me to do something simple, like help the maids, or go to the mark as planned or somthing that doesn't involve me getting maimed he prayed as he waited.

"You've been awaiting promotion is that right?" Alexia asked suddenly, her snap question receiving a snap answer Amoroth's response was given almost as soon as the question was.

"Yes Ma'am!" Amoroth gave an involuntary twitch worried that his answer might annoy Alexia, or worse anger her. However all she did was nod solemnly as if affirming something to herself. She looked at something in her hand and then looked at Abigail who had been standing there quietly. Amoroth jumped when she appeared next to him, he was on edge and Abigail's ghostly antics weren't helping his nerves.

"Feng Mei and her squad are in place but are pinned down, they need assistance." The mage said simply.

"Wait but I just saw her not too long ago is someone attacking?" He asked worried now.

"No what you saw was just a show of how good she is at her job, Feng Mei is in our nearest outpost on a mission. I'm sending you and a small squad to back her up. You are to find her debreif the situation and assist in any way you deem appropriate....Blowing up the outpost is out of the question unless it is too infested for a recovery. You'll meet your squad in the armory. Dismissed." Alexia finished her little tirade.

"Madame?" Amoroth asked cautiously not sure if he understood. "You're giving me a squad and telling me to go help Feng Mei on a secret mission?"

"Yes."

"Got it, I'll head there Asap." Amoroth finished rushing to the armory thoughts rushing in his head.

Amoroth ran to the armory. It had been a while since he had worn his armor and had his blade taste blood. This is it Amoroth, you can't fuck this up. you can do this! he thought giving an internal pep talk. as he rounded the corner to the armory he spotted a small squad of Vampiri awaiting him and prepping. amoroth simply nodded to them and entered the door. he immediately put on his ancestral armor in less than 30 seconds and was already grabbing Ageless and the rest of his gear when one of the Vampiri specialists approached him.

"Sir, how should we go about this mission?" she asked as he finished placing the last of his gear in a satchel attached to his armor. the rest came in and awaited his reply.

"We'll be using a modified lycan tactic i learned when living with the Frost Hunter pack. We shall split into two teams, those that fly, will come with me and attack from the north, as the rest will come in and infiltrate from the east. The gound team will be known as blue team. Hannah will lead blue team, and I shall lead red. once inside the outpost, blue team will find Feng Mei, and kill any resistance. once your team has located her, you will contact me via three clicks on the radio. two clicks for immediate assistance. amoroth said to the group. Any questions?

There was a small bout of confusion as they looked at Amoroth. The Vampiri finally nodded to each other and looked at him directly.

"Sir, we were choosen for our skill and ability. However non of us are of noble blood meaning they are insufficient for flight, sir." She stretch her own two bat like wings, and Amoroth thought of Alexia for a second. She had six wings that were dragon like in appearance. He got curious and thought to ask, not entirely sure.

"What does the number of wings mean?" He asked looking over his blade in case not using it had turned it lazy.

"How much power we have it's usually shown by size rarely are we able to use them to fly, Vampiri with four wings are rare..." She said.

"What about six? Like Alexia? Or No wings?" He pressed.

"Scary. Six wings means she is incredibly powerful, but I've never seen any Vampiri without wings.

"How many of you can actually fly?" He asked finally. Nodding when two raised their hands in affirmation. "Right you two will flank me, Now who will lead blue team?"

"Sir, I am Silver squads Second in command I have no flight ability I'll lead the second group. We'll drive our targets away from Commander Feng Mei and straight into their doom." A rather large male spoke up looking determined and bearing many scars on him.

"We are S.M.A.R.T. squad Silver. Special. Missions. Armaments. and Rescue. Tactics. Sir. Ready when you are sir!" the Female asked looking at her rank she was obviously the Squad leader here. Like the rest of her squad they had on body armor similar to what the military used to use. and their weaponry was likewise consisting of rifles a side arm and a few short bladed weapons. They were outfitted for fighting Infected and Monsters, specializing in it.

Amoroth looked at the map in the armory the outpost was barely a few miles out it'd take them no time to get there.

"Well then, lets not keep her waiting." Amoroth smiled as he sheathed his blade and walked out of the armory with his team in tow. Omar, if you're watching me up there, make sure none of these fine soldiers die... amoroth prayed to his long dead friend. thirty seconds later, they were on their way to the outpost. //Blue team, are you in position?// he asked over the radio as he and the other two vampiri flew towards the north side of the complex.

//We are, and awaiting your go.// blue leader replied.

//Let's kick some ass.// amoroth finally said. Down below blue team sprung into action, firing on the infected in short controlled burst from their rifles. Mei and her men were located at the center of the base, and they were giving the surrounding infected hell.

He looked at the young vampiri next to him and pulled out a Molotov. "How's your aim?" he asked as he lit the rag at the end of the crude weapon.

"I wouldn't be team leader of Silver if i had bad aim." She replied in a cocky tone.

"Good, five degrees to the east. Infected coming up on Mei. Give'm a present." he replied as he handed her the Molotov. she took the Incendiary weapon and chucked it at the on coming infected.

"Bitch please..." she said to herself as the bottle exploded when it hit the ground, causing the surrounding area to light on fire along with the infected in it.

"That outta give her a few minutes"

"You flag those birds down get them in here before they are shot out of the sky, squad three ground reinforcements have taken the heat off our flanks the infected are the minor threat now focus on the Trogs! Hound! Has squad two reported back yet?" Feng Mei shouted off her orders. A radio controller shook his head and Feng Mei cursed. "Damn! Something is wrong, Squad one wipe out the remaining infect on our flanks then bolster squad three, Hawk!...Hawk? Whats-" The Vampiri designated Hawk shouted something Feng Mei could not hear and ran backwars burns on his hands. That's when Feng saw them the dark black looking humaniods, everything around them burned with a balck flame Feng mei knew what they were, the Geiger counter only confirmed it. Huge sources of radiation. Pure energy, deadly and seeking more. Feng Mei sounded the alarm, bullets only slowed them down and magic only made them grow in temperature. She had to get the men out of these monsters reach. "DARK WRAITHS! IGNORE THE INFECTED WE HAVE DARK WRAITHS INSIDE THE PERIMETER. SIGNAL OUR BACK UP WE'RE FALLING BACK TO SQUAD TWO'S POSITION. MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!!" Feng Mei's squad gathered it's equipment and Hound radioed Amoroth's group.

"Falling back to inside of outpost, Meet Galvact team inside." He shouted before grabbing the radio and rushing to follow the rest of his team. Feng Mei Pulled out a pistol and fired a single round into a infected rushing at them from the outpost. She grit her teeth and Stopped running moving her squad ahead of her as she covered them. She watched the sky and caught sight of Amoroth.

"GET INSIDE NOW!!"

//Blue team! into the outpost now! We've got Wraiths!// amoroth barked over the radio. he then nodded at the two vampiri next to him, and the three dive bombed towards Mei's location. there was a loud rumble as Amoroth hit the ground sending plumes of dust and infected into the air. he then stood up and whipped out Ageless. The blade sang as it was removed from it's scabbard. The other two vampiri landed next to him and began giving covering fire to the other squads and team two.

"Let's move people!" the vampiri next to him shouted as she opened fire on some stragglers.

After thirty seconds, the remaining soldiers were inside. Amoroth entered covered in gore with the occasional finger in his armor. "Good to see you Feng Mei"

"Not as good as I like, Those Wraiths showing up complicate things and Second squad is nowhere to be found." Feng Mei replied annoyed. "Large amount of infected gather those damn wraiths getting too close to them fries you. Shooting them is a huge waste of ammo as it takes an obscene amount of bullets to drop one, and magic just makes them burn hotter." The Knight spat on the ground and motioned for Amoroth to follow. "Those bastards were dug in deep looked like they infected a breeder unit. It was pumping out new born infected I held the majority of my team out there to distract the main force while I sent in second squad to blow the breeder to hell. Lost contact with them not long afterwards." She finished and looked towards the stair as Amoroth stared at Feng Mei blankly.

"Breeder?" He asked looking confused at the term.

"You haven't heard of the breeders? Shit this isn't gonna be pleasant...okay a while back before this shit storm even could be thought up Vampiri were in a bad spot they couldn't hunt openly because the Lycans were attacking them constantly, they needed to up their ghoul count and get more blood rations to their forces however humans has a slow breeding time. so they grabbed some and upped ther breeding time and the rate at which they reach maturity.suddenly they now had entire armies of ghouls. the playing field had been changed. breeder give birth to breeder and so on.if one is infected then there is trouble..." Feng Mei said shaking her head. "That poor breeder probably scared to death. not to mention it's caretakers..."

"Well shit girl... has anyone tried to go toe to toe with these black wraiths?" he asked now more concerned about the wraiths than the breeders. This is gonna be one hell of a fight... I need a way to kill these assholes before they kill us... he thought to himself as he pulled a stray finger from his armor. "How many wraiths?" he finally asked.

"What?" Mei asked now confused.

"How many black wraiths are we up against?" he asked again as his eyes glowed with an idea. well a memory so to speak. "I remember one way of killing these things. but... we may lose the outpost."

"Okay, I have four questions then. What's your plan? Will it get anyone killed? Will Alexia approve? and will it fuck me up in the process?" she asked as amoroth looked out the window.

"You say these thing get hotter with magic right?" he asked not look at her.

"Yeah?"

"If we get them hot enough, they may just melt down. like an old nuclear power plant" he stated as he turned to look at her. "People will die if we're not fast enough when doing this, and you may get fucked up when they do melt down if you're in the area. and there's a 99.99999% chance the Outpost will be decimated" he explained. "That or just pump'em full of lead. i like that one best."

"Wouldn't work they'd just fry the entire area bullets are the way to go but then we'd all be switching to close range weapons for everything else. We might be able to bomb everything to death if we could locate squad two." Feng Mei said motioning to the outpost. The outpost that is visible is a small tower going up a couple stories but with relatively low space. There was a stair case leading downwards that the squads had situated themselves around with Feng Mei looking in it's direction every once in a while. "The lower parts of this outpost are big it's all underground. Second squad went down there but hasn't reported back... I can't afford to send another squad down there we're going to need the fire power to handle these wraiths... I'd rather not but I'm going to need you to go down there and find them, that or you stay up here with two squads and I take one and go down there to look it's your choice." She said crossing her arms.

"Ma'am whatever decision you two make. make it fast we don't have much time left before they are withing bullet range." Hawk said sighting his rifle. "We keep sitting here and those Wraiths will fry us like chicken. You guys need to decide something and fast!"

Amoroth thought for a second then spoke. "send me in... you'll need all the firepower here. i will need on soldier to come with me to be a guide cause i don't know this place" he said as he walked over to the door. "Which one of you is crazy enough to lead e down into the bowels of the outpost?" amoroth said to the vampiri surrounding him. amoroth hated infected as much as next guy, but the things below and outside, were a different story.

"Sir, I'll go with you. Hell, we all make it someday." a male Vampiri piped up. he readied his rifle and attached his combat knife to the under-barrel of it, making a bayonet.

"I hope your good with that butter knife and pea-shooter" amoroth commented as the two awaited feng's instructions

(Feng Mei is the only one of her men that might have any idea what it is like down there none of her men have been assigned to this outpost before. It's a first trio for pretty much everyone)

Feng Mei smacked both Amoroth and Hawk. "I meant he takes his squad down there with him they can lead him down. Too much ground for one person to cover by himself we'd be overrun before you got back or have to abandon you down there. You're taking your squad with you." She said dragging Hawk back to his old position. "Not taking any chances I have two squads you have one go down there find out what happened to second squad Burn out the infected breeder and whatever else you find down there." Amoroth shook his head and ordered his squad to take positions and follow him down the stairs. Silver leader took point next to Amoroth Her rifle aimed forwards as they descended into darkness. The stairs went downwards further than expected the bottom wasn't visible at first.

Hawk was keeping tabs on Amoroth's squad through radio contact, well that was until the stairs blew up blocking there way out. Hawk desperately fired messages towards them but got nothing back He wasn't sure if they could hear him but he couldn't hear them. He looked at Feng Mei and gave her the news.

"Keep fighting this is only a minor setback." She said simply.

"Well shit... Only one way to go now. forward." Amoroth stated as he looked back at the caved in entrance. he then turned to silver leader and nodded. she took point and the rest formed a delta formation sweeping the darkness with their rifles. to amoroth, it was clear as day, but to the infected, they were fucked.

after an hour of searching the underground complex and sever infected encounters, the team came up on their primary target. a breeder.

"How do you wanna go about this? up close and personal or kill it with a hail of bullets and fire?" amoroth asked silver leader.
