The Infected

The Infected have started to show signs of rapid, even instant evolution, giving birth to montorous kinds of infected beast these creatures are very dangerous. To help the general populace be prepared for the eventual encounter with these creatures this record has been compiled. Each section of the record holds ways to identify, habits, possible locations and possible strategy. Use this record wisely, the infected need no rest, feel no pain. They are a virus and will keep going until either they are burned out or we are all consumed.

First Level Infected.
Human infected: The infection first hit the humans, and was disastrous they changed and became more ferocious.

Common infected:
Common Infected look normal if they are newly infected, except their eyes glow in the dark a strange symptom that was never fully understood the older they are the more decayed their flesh. They Travel in large packs the smallest number usually being more than 30 with an upwards average of being around 700. It is possible to get them on their own but it's only in places where there haven't been any food for them. They like all but the highest infect feel no pain and have no limiters on their bodies physical traits. They will not stop no matter how much their bodies are destroyed as long as they have a head they will continue trying to attack you. The easiest way to fight them is really to burn them set them ablaze contrary to popular belief about them not feeling and being affect by the flames their bodies are damaged far easier by flames than ours and soon the muscles stop working expessially in extreme temperature heat.

The Goblin:
Goblins are a specific type of infected that are born from humans and assault vampires and Vampiri there form is simmilar but distinctly different from the higher version of the Vampire Ghoul called a Hell Gaurd which serve as the vampires van guard. The Goblin is surpisingly fast and strong, as it's shape makes it seem as if it's frail their ares arm almost twice as long as their legs and viciously clawed. They have a human like torsos that bend near the neck to from a hunch, the walked on legs the bent backwards simmilar to quadipeds and reptiles their arms were hideously long and clawed and the heads were little more than skulls with the skin stretched tight fanged jaws hanging slack. They travel in small groups of anywhere from 6 to 15. They also feel no pain and theri bodies have more defense than expected seeing that the normal sniper rifle round does little to them even when a direct head shot. The open wounds on their backs are their weak spots aim their to take them down quickly.

The Stalker:
Some said that a bunch of ninjas were caught off guard but those who have studied science see that the infected are getting smarter. The Stalker is a infected human who's mind is suited for higher thinking allowing the stalker to change clothes and use stealth efficently the Stalker is usualy indeterminable from the common infected. The can feel things but acknowledge no pain they can feel vibrations and attack to kill with one strike. They can easily dodge gun fire being both faster and stronger than normal infected. Dealing with Stalkers is difficult the best way being to take them out from a distance as soon as possible or if in close quarters get another person to hold them while the other kills them. there is no proper way of dealing with them due to the infection still claiming lives. stock up on Machine gun ammo.

The Claw:
Human Infected that evolved a defense against hand to hand combat by excreting spikes from almost every point on it's body, making it a painful close combat adversary. The large spikes are part of it's skeleton poking out from it's body the skeletal structure evolving to be more defense oriented. It's fangs also look similar to the spike that it displays upon it's body both of which have been shown to peirce tank armor with ease. They are often found stuck somewhere high waiting to drop upon prey impaling them few people ever survive a run in with the claw. It's skin is also think allowing it to take heavily fire relatively unaffected.

Lycan/Loup Garou Infected:

"Among the biggest horrors of the blight was realizing that the apex of physical evolution: The Lycans. Have also fallen to the blight."

Common Lycan Infected:
The Common Lycan infected cannot return to any human state They are the Wolf form of the Lycan that was infected so they may vary but most look like large humanoid wolves with mange and or rabies. As Lycans are pack animals they are always found with other infected Lycans hunting in large packs. They feel no pain and can use all of their strength with no limitations they can effectively destroy their bodies to get to you and since their regeneration still works it is not only an effective tactic but a deadly one. It is however to note that though their regeneration still works they are still decaying and they can only regenerate a bit more than their previous state meaning that they can prolong their body's well being bit bits and peices until it is no longer working. When talking about both species we simply say Lycan as it appears that the difference between the two is slight and mostly cultural.

The Ripper: At first glance looks nothing like a Lycan even with a good look it seem more related to Crocs than a vicious bigger than large Wolf. Despite this the Ripper is all Infected Lycan, they evolved scales that shrug off anything smaller than a elephant gun and hunt in packs thay aren't extremly fast and can actualy be out runned easily enough but they are still Lycans. They hunt in packs and are intteligent enough to set traps. They are cunning and nearly invulnerable foes most blades bend against their flesh they are nearly twice as strong as their common counter parts. The rippers large claws is the source of their name allowing them to rip through steel with little effort.

The Doberman:

By some weird circumstance some Lycans who become infected may sometimes mutate into this from. They look like large dogs but are smaller than their origonal wolf form they are however much faster and have a ravenous appetite. These infected forms are totally devoted towards tracking and outrunning their prey and serve as the scouts in Infected Lycan packs. they have no regeneration but are deadly enough without it. Best method of dealing with the Dobermen is by attacking their front with ranged weapons taking out their legs and head as soon as possible before thay can close the distance between you and them.

The Siren:
Lycan infected that are for all extenses and purposes normal until they are accepted into a group of non-infected They appear normal and even believe it themselves somehow dredging up their last few moments before becomeing infected they can shift just like a normal lycan. There are ways to tell a siren first off their last memory will always have some kinda irregularity it may seem small at first but it's never that for long. Some say they fought off the infected with a weapon they never mentioned having before and even might've said ealier that they were running because of a lack of weapons either way if you press them enough it will become clear. They also attract other infected and when other infected are around they have two modes incognito and normal when they aren't discovered they will be attacked and run with you to get away but if they are discovered they with suddenly become red eye'd with fangs and claws and attack. While normally they are essentually normal lycans physically when they change they become a bit faster the spys of the Lycan pack Sirens are among the most dangerous Infected out there.

Vampire/Vampiri Infected:

As if the blood suckers were bad enough they can also become infected.

Common Vamp Infected:

They appear the same as normal vamps however they are even paler and use their incredible vampiric abilities they are even weaker to their former weaknesses so don't be worried too much about the common infected vamps strong enough sun light and they'll be ash before they become a problem, however they seem to blend in with the human common infected not being distinguishable until it's too late.

The Harpy:
Infected vamps, they usually retain the ability to fly and as such cause death from above the harpies are a strange infected sub-type that seem as intelligent as the Stalkers take out their wings and take them out from the ground don't let them outsmart you or get into groups. they work well with others.

The Hag:
Vamps infected that is mutated to a point where eyes are a vulnerability, it has none but this is also a saving grace for those who come across it as while it doesn't need to see it's other sense aren't hard to trick. It attacks sounds all sounds. It is however very malicious it is capable of working with other infected and when starving can sense the living perfectly making it almost inescapable The Hag seems to be a director rather than an attacker. Trying to avoid the hag rather than confronting them is the best path, however if force to confront them aim for the fact and ruin it's senses so it can not track you.

The last:
A codename given to a special brand of Vamp infected. These infected hide their true forms which are little more than skinly hulking corpses. They are an enigma as far as the infected go as few who have seen one have come back to tell the tale. It has however been speculated that the last have awesome strength and physical abilities. As well as the short glimpses of them that have been caught show them holding weapons.

Werepyre/Lypyre Infected:
We'll be honest we have about as much info on these infected as we do the uninfected ones. Any information on these creatures would be appreciated please forward it to a human refuge who will make the information public. (Not japan or Sydney they are blocked off.)

Demon Infected:
Not much is known about the Demons so little information will be available on their infected forms.

Common infected:
They look like they were when they were uninfected with glowing eyes and longer fans and claws.

The Devil:
A ferocious creature, Demons infected with the disease if unfortunate will end up a creature such as this. (The once proud demon horns twisted back the mimic a rams if they were straight) The are disfigured and remember every bit of pain that they expreinced to become that way and now specifically seek out to cause outhers harm. They appear to be very durable and powerful.

Dragula:
A hellish feind that seems to be the ONLY Lv 1 infected capable of magic the Dragula seems wicked intelligent and has a habit of playing with it's food it's skin it almost impervious to everything (extremly sharp blades or powerful armament could peirce the skin if your a hand to hand fighter there are weak point in the normal humanlike area's ((Armpits groin neck ect))) it is the faster known infected being able to even beat Werepyres the owners of the term speed in a foot race it seems to be a blade user. This infected have shown enough intelligence to converse with survivors before killing and/or turning them they are one of the few infected that have stages.
