Hollow Breed

Stuff of Nightmares

Name: Koori Yousei Hayasa
Age: 29
Gender: Female.
Aspect of Death: Loyalty - Koori has an unbreakable sense of loyalty. So much so that she would much rather die with those she's loyal to than leave them behind. She would rather kill herself or get herself killed then betray them. If you tell her to wait for you, she wont she'll follow you because she would rather die at your side fighting than later hear about your death from someone. If she finds out those shes loyal too are dead, she will go on a hunt for the person that killed them murder them in horrible ways, then most likely kill herself to return to your side.

Loyalties: Before she died, Koori made Atrum swear to hollowify her when she died. So when she finally did die, Atrum kept his word. However the cost of her hollowification was the loss of her memories. As such the only person she remembers from her old life is Atrum, she forgot everyone else. Because of this, she is only loyal to Atrum hes the one constant in her lives.

Character Parameters

Height & Weight Koori stands and forever will stand at four feet nine inches tall, and as such she shall forever be a tiny weight of 90 pounds.

Hair & Eye Color Koori has cold ice blue eyes, and after her death don't really radiate the old light they used too in her life. However not many people would notice this for her hollow mask is faceless, and has no eye holes ore mouth, however she can still see, eat and speak perfectly fine.  Her hair has grown to Hip length, and is still charcoal black. The front of her hair is slightly trimmed so it falls just past her breasts, she tends to wear it down in her face, however at times will use her red ribbon she still wears in her hair for no purpose to tie it up to mid back length and pull her bangs back.

Noticeable Difference
Koori as a hollow, is built exactly as a human would be except with a few minor differences.

Strength in Starvation

Hollow Power:
Bladed Bone Plating|Direct Power.
The cause of Koori's death was because she was fragile and small. Due to her wishes of being the fastest her body became lighter in death, and as such she became much faster. However due to the way she died her spiritual body decided to rebel against her greatest wishes of becoming the fastest and upon her bodies reaction to adrenaline creates bone armor on her limbs.

As such passively shes incredibly fast, however as combat goes on her body generates bone armor that is not only heavy slowing her down, but razor sharp so she can use it to attack. She has five areas where her body generates this armor, each arm separately, each leg separately, and her chest. The reason her body doesn't generate armor around her face is because of her mask supposed to be there permanently, so its not needed. She can also rip this armor off and use it as a sword at the cost of the defense boost it gives her.

Second Hollow power:
Temperature control|Mixed Power.
Upon becoming an Adjuchas Koori regained the ability to absorb energy from the air, however this was temperature energy rather than Reishi. Using her new bodies bone structure, and this power shes able to manipulate the general area around her into extreme heat, or extreme cold.

Using this power allows her to absorb heat energy from the area around her and then expel that as hot or cold to effect her, her opponent, the area around her, or all three. Such as catching her fists on fire, Freezing parts of her body to make it into a piece of armor that can be used as a weapon, Freezing the ground, or starting fires.

RESURRECCIÓN power:
Kaldichwolg| Direct Power.
Upon becoming an Arrancar Koori regained her memories and sealed her new power into a blade she then named after her former bow Kaldichwolg. This blade is Four feet long, the hilt itself is 6 inches. Making the sword stand at 4' 6" just three inches shorter than Koori herself. The blade's metal is tinged with the seven different colors of a rainbow, which change depending on how you view it in the light. The sword has a ring on the pommel and a red rope hanging from it, allowing it to be drawn from its sheath.

She wears the blades sheath on her back with the hilt sideways towards her dominant left hand, allowing her to reach backwards grab the rope or ring and with a flick of her arm draw the blade from its sheath by flipping it into the air. She then catches it and is able to use it as the blade it is, a great claymore made for cutting things in twine with great strength and speed.

However thats not the blades true purpose, as it is her Zanpakuto it holds her Ressurrection power, and with the activation phrase it will bestow this power back to her self at the cost of her human form.

Upon the release of her Resurrection she regains her old quincy ability to absorb Reishi from around her, making her a deadly Arrancar, to both mortals and Spiritual beings. She's able to use this to absorb the Reishi around her and store it inside of her unique bone structure. From there she can use it to do normal quincy things, such as make a reishi bow from the bone spikes on her arms capapble of firing Reishi arrows. Or infuse the bone spike shes using as a weapon with Reishi to give it the spiritual chainsaw like properties of a Seele schnieder.


This is for when she actually dies.

Hollow Evolution Skill Level:[Advanced]

Adjuchas Appearance Description: Koori's form didn't change much when she became an Adjuchas. In fact it didn't change at all, she stayed short and just gained more bone spikes protruding from her tiny lithe body. The bone spikes were hollowed out, allowing them to absorb the air around her and pull it into her body. However the ones that remained from when she was a hollow remained solid, wrist to elbow, ankle to knee, hips to collar bone all stayed solid.

Other than that, Koori's hair got longer, falling to her hips now in the back, and to just below her breasts in the front. She likes to wear it down because its alot easier to deal with that way. Other than that Koori stayed the same humanoid faceless masked form as an Adjuchas.

Reishi Manipulation:

Grandmaster: Gains the ability to pump the Reishi in her spikes to her blood, gaining Blut Vene, and Blut Arterie, grants +50 Spirit when spikes are used as a projectile.

How this works mechanically is she gets a passive +50 bonus to speed. However for each post in combat she loses 10 speed, and gains 10 defense and a bone plate. She can only have 5 bone plates max, and this gives her +50 Defense, but she only has base speed. These plates serve no other purpose besides allowing her to attack enemies with her bare hands.

However if she rips a bone plate off her body she loses the +10 to defense and is able to use it like a sword, she doesn't get the speed back as the bone plate is still heavy. This allows her to do techniques she has learned that require a sword.

While hot it gives her + 5 Strength per stack as it allows her body to pump adrenaline through her system faster, while cold each stack gives her +5 Defense as the cold hardens her muscles making her feel pain more, but keeping the damage as less.

Using a certain amount of heat stacks for techniques is the entire concept of this power.

Upon the release of her Resurrection she regains her old quincy ability to absorb Reishi from around her, making her a deadly Arrancar, to both mortals and Spiritual beings. She's able to use this to absorb the Reishi around her and store it inside of her unique bone structure. From there she can use it to do normal quincy things, such as make a reishi bow from the bone spikes on her arms capapble of firing Reishi arrows. Or infuse the bone spike shes using as a weapon with Reishi to give it the spiritual chainsaw like properties of a Seele schnieder.


How this works Mechanics wise, is she basically gets her old Quincy bow power back. using her unique bone structure as a weapon, she is capable of pumping Reishi into the bones and bringing it to the razor sharp edges, moving the Reishi along the edge of the blade like a chainsaw she gains a boost to her spirit by proper application of Reishi absorption along the blades, and it allows her to make all her attacks with these bone claws and blades Spirit attacks rather than strength.

Mechanically the value is equal to her original powers base value, + (10 * Reishi Mastery.)
Rather than Seele Mastery in this instance.

Her Age: Koori is quite young at 28 years old.

Her Hometown: Karakura, Japan, she lives there to do this day.

And Her Loyalties: Koori has no loyalties to the human organizations. However all of her loyalties are to her close friends, most importantly her friend she refers to as Arashi, Atrum. She values her friends as family and as such wishes to remain loyal to them, and protect them like the family she couldn't.  

She has no loyalties to the human organizations because she doesn’t know they exist, they were neither explained nor introduced to her in her youth by her family. However this wont stop her from meeting them if their existence becomes known to her.

Getting to know her better.

Her Height & Weight Koori is small for her race and age, shes four foot nine inches, and weighs about 90 pounds. Her metabolism is all kinds of screwed up and her body reacts like a child's would. Physically she appears to be a nine to twelve year old girl at first glance.

Her Hair & Eye Color Koori has black hair, coal black. This black hair is straight in the back and sides and goes down to her mid back curling at the ends slightly. However this is hardly noticeable as she wears a ribbon to tie up her hair, this ribbon tends to be red or black depending on whether or not she is out Hollow hunting. Her bangs are shorter than the rest of her hair, only being a few inches and not long enough to curl they fall into her icy blue eyes annoying her when shes trying to read.

Her icy blue eyes tend to be relaxed and calm, they move at a normal pace rather then erratic like people who are panicked or worried about an attack, or slow like people who are lazy or don't care. Normally they shine with a trickster or mischievous gleam, and can sometimes make people suspicious of her. Her eyes have fine vision, and she uses them often by practicing archery in her backyard or by reading the books in her library or at her job.

Some Noticeable Differences The first odd thing a person should notice about Koori is her body's size. She's tiny, and built like a twig. She looks like a nine to twelve year old girl just looking at her body. she can normally be spotted by the red or black ribbon in her hair that she uses to tie it up, and serve no other purpose. She also wears glasses when she’s not out hunting hollows as they're merely for appearance and provide no actual benefits to her vision.

Koori has a relaxed posture, as she’s relaxed in her life, she walks slow but runs fast, and she likes to swing her legs when she sits on things tall enough. She has a very calm personality however when it comes to swordplay she likes to think of her as really good at it, and won’t hesitate to attempt to brag, if she could. Sometimes she can get excited about something and tries to communicate about it in a hurried manner.

A good noticeable difference is that Koori is mute. She cannot talk and can barely make audible noises besides for cough like sounds. She communicates via a strange unique combination of Body language and a system that resembles something more like Charades than sign language, and as such sometimes people think shes a crazy kid.

When relaxing at home Koori dresses kinda lax. Her common wardrobe is a dress, skirt or shorts and a loose T-shirt. Normally her color scheme has oranges, reds and yellows, as she enjoys the colors of autumn and fire. She never wears shoes indoors and always takes them off after entering a house as its rude to track the outside that sticks to your shoes inside someones home, however she also prefers to not wear socks after entering a building as they are normally sweaty and disgusting, and will normally leave her colored socks in her shoes when shes visiting someone else's house.

Work and college outfit wise Koori dresses in a professional white button up shirt with a black T-shirt under it, with a yellow tie to cover the buttons, sometimes if its cold enough a black overcoat on top. She normally matches this with a orange plaid skirt, or blue jeans. If shes wearing the skirt she'll wear a white pair of thigh high socks, and red shoes with about an inch of heel. If shes wearing the Jeans she'll stick with her combat boots.

When she’s hunting Hollows her normal outfit is a pair of black shorts, with combat boots, a black T-shirt, a black Jacket over it, with her gloves, a black cape that doubles as a scarf if it gets too cold, a white belt with some of her Quincy equipment on it, a black hat, and a insignia on her right arm with her family's Mekkakyu symbol on it, with a black backpack that she carries around for dinner and supplies.

Koori has a lean body, one that is made more for running then for straight up physical combat. She’s made easily for speed rather than power, and she uses that physical build of hers as a sword fighter and a user of the bow rather than punching people. This doesn’t mean her physical combat skills are lacking, she may not be a master of martial arts, but she isn’t a slouch in fist to fist combat either. She’s just more likely to break then her opponent is if her opponent is made for it. She’s more lithe and flexible then bulky.

Favorite Color:
Koori's favorite color is red. Its shown via her red ribbon she wears in her hair. She also accessorizes in red, like her glasses which also serve no purpose. Her next favorite color is orange, which she wears as her primary color, like her dresses and skirts. Her third favorite color is yellow, which she doesn't wear often and normally wears it as a tie or collar.

Habits:

  • Glasses: When she wears them Koori has a habit of playing with them. She'll normally adjust them, or push them up, or just move them up and down. This comes from three factors normally, one shes nervous and cant hold her poker face, Two shes bored which is most common, and three she doesn't normally wear glasses so it feels weird and they need to be adjusted. These habits are usually never noticed, unless someone notices the glasses have no purpose.

  • Throwing Koori has a bad habit of throwing things at peoples heads. This is normally out of annoyance, or frustration, or both. She cant really express displeasure in the normal ways of speech as shes a mute, so she does it in the next best way she thought of, blunt force trauma to the face. This tends to be considered rude, but she considers you pissing off a handicap person who cant bitch moan or complain rude, fairs fair.

  • Clinging Koori likes to cling to people she likes. By that I mean if she likes you as a person, a friend, an older brother, an adopted cousin, or anything she just generally likes she will most likely hide behind you, or hug you alot. She doesn't really understand the concept of personal space anymore, and it can be frustrating sometimes when she's panicking about your rapid loss of blood in the middle of a fight and clings to you, cause you now have an extra 90 pounds of squishy adorable 9 year old girl to protect. As such it should be disapproved of as soon as it is seen, or done to you, that way you don't die a horrible death because she wanted a hug.


Fears:

  • Arachnophobic:  Is a specific phobia, the fear of spiders and other arachnids such as scorpions. Koori is afraid of spiders, deathly paralyzingly afraid at touch of spiders. However if she sees a spider she'll merely keep her distance after showing surprise of finding such a creature in her general vicinity and leave it alone. If the spider continues to disturb her she will either flee the area, or get someone to crush it. She's had this fear sense the incident in which she lost her voice.

  • Loss: Koori is terrified of the thought of losing anymore people she loves. Normally its this fear that gives her nightmares in her sleep, as she curses remembering her losses when she was younger. She hates hearing the screams of her family in her sleep and wishes she could get rid of them, would do anything to get rid of them, and keep everyone she loves safe.

  • Claustrophobic: is the irrational fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms. Koori has had this fear sense the day her family died, since then she has feared small tight rooms. She tries to keep this fear in check if she has to ride an elevator, or other such tiny transportation system like the subway. However normally just ends up staying in the back with a look of terror on her face.


Goals:
Koori has three major goals in life. These are in corresponding importance, the first is that she feels she must defend those not spiritually aware from Hollow races. She feels this is the most important goal, and she should get together a team of her and her friends to protect Karakura from Hollows. She started this goal by teaming up with Atrum, and she plans to see it finished even after she dies.

Her second goal is to become stronger. She wants to be able to protect people and she wasn't able to protect her family when she was younger. So she plans to get stronger, and stronger until shes able to defend everyone from Hollows, everyone including herself. She'll do almost anything to get strong enough to protect everyone she loves and cares for, she never wants to experience loss of that magnitude again. After the incident of losing her voice she felt even worse about being weak, and as such decided to try even harder to become stronger.

Her third goal is to raise a family. Her family line died out with her brother, and she's the last of the Hayasa clan, so Raising a family is an important thing to her. If she dies without an Heir to the family name, the Hayasa family name dies forever. Hopefully after she becomes stronger, and helps protect Karakura from the hollows she can settle down and have a family. That would make her happy to settle down.

Overall Personality:


TMI?: Koori has lived alone with Arashi for awhile now, and as such she has learned some important modern survival skills. This list includes but is not limited too, Cooking, Cleaning, Proper Laundry folding, Fixing house hold mechanical problems, Fixing common plumbing problems, How to iron, proper organization of house hold objects, sorting things alphabetically, time management, money management, and food management. However Arashi has also taught her some of his old fashioned survival skills including, Tracking, scavenging,stealth tactics, hunting, fishing, gathering, simple weapon crafting, knife training, axe training, and Animal behavior and habits. This strange combination of skills is what allows Koori to live on a day by day basis.

The Bladed Monk

Mekkakyu: Koori’s Mekkakyu's name is Kaldichwolg, it is a foot long piece of flattened white metal, and ruby. She wears this as a piece of armor around her forearm in combat. The White metal is made to the contortions of a hand, as if its made to be held, and inside of it is the ruby. The ruby is pure, and carved into the shape of a flame, and is the Hayasa family symbol, a symbol of their burning justice/passion/emotions, or at least that was the common reasons Koori was given. The Ruby is inlaid into the entire piece of metal, and as such the metal surrounds a large core piece of ruby.

The name Kaldichwolg was a Germanization of the Gaelic name Caladcholg. She named her Mekkakyu this because of its ability to form into a blade, which when swung made the arc of a rainbow. The name Caladbogl the modern day term means hard-Cleft, however Caladcholg means Hard-Blade. It is commonly associated with the Ulster hero Fergus mac Leda. It was said to be a two-handed sword that made a circle like an arc of rainbow when swung, and to have the power to slice the tops off hills and slaughter an entire host. Caladbolg is thought to be a source or analogue of King Arthur's sword Excalibur, which in early Welsh is called Caledfwlch.

Spirit Weapon: Unlike Most Quincy, When Kaldichwolg is released it takes the form of a rainbow stylized Bastard sword. It has a 4 foot long blade, with the Mekkakyu being the hilt of the blade. The blade is straight and edged on bothsides, and can be wielded one handed or two handed. This blade even if it seems to be made of solid material is actually made of Reishi, just in the form of several light rays and projects the illusion of a Rainbow colored blade.

She summons her spirit weapon, by grabbing the Mekkakyu off her wrist and holding it and absorbing the reishi around her into the hilt like Mekkakyu. This reishi blade works exactly like a Seele a chainsaw made of Reishi, and as such her spirit weapon was normally referred to by her brother as a Glorified Seele. She then uses this in combat as any person would use a sword or blade, by sticking or slashing them with the sharp end.

Spirit Weapon Abilities: Even though Koori's Spirit weapon is a sword does not mean she isn't capable of ranged combat. Most Quincy prefer ranged combat over melee combat, and as such have Spirit weapons like bows, and guns. However Kaldichwolg is a blade type spirit weapon, and is unusual for Quincy kind, but the spirit weapon makes up for this in two ways.

The first is because it is a melee spirit weapon it still works like a spirit weapon however she is manipulating the Reishi blade with her own talent to work like a Seele. The second is it allows her to fire off Reishi fueled projectiles when she slashes with the weapon. It accomplishes this ability by absorbing the Reishi around it before she swings the blade in an arc creating a rainbow arc effect and firing the Reishi absorbed as a projectile, allowing her to attack an enemy at range. This range may not be as good as normal Quincy weapons, however it works good enough for Koori who prefers the blade anyway.

Lets go back to the beginning.

Koori at a young age was a happy girl. Her parents loved her, and she had a brother. She grew up living well in japan with her happy family of four. When she reached the age of 14 her parents taught her how to use the family Mekkakyu, Her father’s was a long bow which he taught her how to use. Her brother who was 2 years older than her taught her how to fight with a blade, and she was much better at it then Reishi manipulation, she was lean and she was fast, very fast.

A few years later when she was eighteen her family started taking her on trips to eliminate hollows, and helped her train her powers even more. She excelled at Hirenkyaku, and combat with a Seele Schneider. Her parents realizing her potential as a sword fighter helped her hone her body to be fast, agile, and flexible. This training was much of her life, up until about a year ago.

When she was 20, the Hayasa house was attacked viciously by hollows. Koori had no idea what happened to her family, as she was trained in fighting but told to hide. She heard the noises of combat but stayed quiet. Soon everything got quiet again, and she decided she was gonna leave her house and head for her uncle’s. She made it to the courtyard of the house she lived before she ran into two Hollows; they taunted her, and then attacked her. She tried to defend herself but they were too strong for her to take by herself, she wasn’t trained in fighting against more than one enemy. In the fight one of the hollows hit her upside the head with one of his attacks, knocking her to the ground, her consciousness fading she heard a roar of anger and hunger from something nearby, and saw something the size of a bear with the ferocity of two tigers attack the two hollows.

When she woke up, there was no trace of the two hollows, and she was alive. That was also when she met her friend Atrum. She always believed all hollows were evil; however that’s not truly the case. She learned that day that Hollows can be good, it’s just a lot harder for them to survive if they are. Atrum refused to harm people or lost souls, no Atrum lived off hollows. Strict Hollow diet, and he sensed some hollows over here and feasted, after that he made sure Koori was okay and then left.

The two have sparked an odd friendship between Hollow and Quincy. Atrum at times was hard to control, with his anger towards the unjust, and the evil being his problem. However together they hunted Hollows, which calmed the large Hollow down. After awhile she noticed that Atrum had abandoned the mask that hollows wear, and seemed much calmer than he used to be.

It was a few years after that where the incident happened. Koori and Atrum were out hunting Hollow like normal and she had spotted a Hollow that was shaped like a large spider, however it was a bit odd, as each of the eight legs had a mask on it and large masses. She chased it down, and engaged it in combat. At first it seemed weak, and she was able to deal with it easily, however before she could deal a deathblow the bulges jumped off he large hollow and were infact smaller Hollow. She shoulda guessed from the other masks, but she was short sighted and thought she could deal with this enemy.

Realizing she needed help she signaled Atrum for help, and prayed she could hold off long enough for him to arrive. It wasnt long before she was completely overwhelmed and backed into a corner by the 9 hollows, she killed three of the smaller ones however that was when the bigger one slashed her with one of its claws. The claw ripped part of her neck open but the majority of the wound was her chest and shoulder, she fell back in pain sensing poison in her wound that numbed it quite quickly. That was when Koori heard a weird laugh, and suddenly a flock of crows destroyed the smaller Hollows. A man stood in the Alley way alone now with her and the large Hollow, he introduced himself as a shop keep by the name of Twylphaesyn, and the flock of crows surrounded him and turned into a scythe of the same color as the crows, which he then used to destroy the big hollow.

Koori was scared of the man at first, who re-introduced himself to the young lady, however because her neck was numb and she was bleeding all over the place he told her to wait to introduce herself.That was when Atrum arrived and she was relieved enough to know she was safe she allowed herself to black out, even though this guy was stupid. She would later come to regret falling asleep.  

When she woke up, Koori was once again scared she was inside of a small wooden shop that was all empty and bare, and seemingly was a failing business. She felt her chest and neck and it had been patched up quite well, however knowing that this was neither her house, and that Atrum wasn't much of a healer, she figured out that this was the mans job. When she walked outside she ran into Atrum, the strange shop keeper and a third man with platinum blonde hair. The third man apparently owned and operated a book shop, and he offered Koori and Atrum jobs there. Koori almost accepted immediately, she got a job working with something she loved. However there was one problem, she couldn't say anything, no matter how hard she tried, she looked rather pissed about it too. She wrote down to the new blonde guy whose name she later found out was Weiss, that she would take the job, she didn't need to talk while doing it anyway, and the shop keeper who she decided to call Twi because his name was stupid and annoying was going to teach her how to sign what she wanted.

What the man taught her wasn't sign language, and what ever it was it was obviously taught for his own amusement because it hardly conveyed what she was trying to say. She decided that after about a year of putting up with this crazy bastards bullshit, she was done and would go back to living her normal life, working with her job and her house. Sense then she's dealt with her mute problem via a combination of guessing games and angry notes when shes given up trying to communicate with people and she absolutely cannot deal with them anymore that way.

  • CUSTOM POWER Description: Koori oddly enough is the only Quincy who cannot wield a bow of Reishi. Her Mekkakyu Kaldichwolg is a swords hilt within a large arm guard. These two artifacts were weilded by former family members and taken care of for generations, stipulated that they can only be wielded by worthy warriors of their Quincy family line. The Hayasa family can trace its origins all the way back to the British isles, and their family has maintained these artifacts for many, many generations. All records state that no one in the last 1400-1500 years have used Kaldichwolg until Koori could.

    Originally Koori didnt know about the old family records tracing their family history back that far, things become blurred and names are no longer recorded. The only two surviving records are the statements of the artifacts. Originally she believed her Mekkayku to be the only family Relic, however after recently finding two records the first of Kaldichwolg detailing the blade and its history in the family, and explaining where the record of the other relic was. She obtained this record and found out her arm guard was actually meant to be used a shield, it was a relic of her family and it and Kaldichwolg were to be a always used together. Its name was Wynebgwrthucher. Detailed in the records of Wynebgwrthucher was records of these artifacts previous owner. A king by the name of Arthur, and his knights of the round, they were actually all Quincy who defended England from the ancient horrors of Hollows. From what Koori got from these records of the two weapons the Hollow problem was ALOT worse back then than it is now, hence why there were groups such as the Knights of the Round.

    The Knights of the Round found bows to be less powerful than the concentrated Reishi of blades, The bow also required the wielder to use their speed and maintain range from their enemy, and both hands to use the bow. They found this to be highly inefficient, and thus developed a fighting style dedicated to the use of swords made from concentrated Reishi, and using a second focus, created shields of Reishi for their other hand, allowing them to defend from stronger enemies in direct physical combat. They called the masters of this combative style "Knights" Also, pretty damn conveniently in Koori's opinion both records attached together, and on their backs described in near flawless detail was the forms of the fighting style these Knights used.

    Koori decided to use the gifts she was given, and learn this fighting style that has died out amongst her kind. A fighting style she finds much more effecient than that of normal Quincy world wide. She memorized the forms, Tactics, and Techniques of the Knights, which she now dubbed as Quincy Knights, and proceeded to train in them with the help of her best friend Atrum Buile in single combat. It took awhile but she soon learned to use the tools of her trade and became the only Quincy Knight in the modern world, wielding Reishi Sword, and Reishi sheild through her family Relics, the Mekkakyu blade Kaldichwolg, and the Makkakyu Shield Wynebgwrthucher, the artifacts of an age long past.

    Wynebgwrthucher The Mekkakyu sheild has been with her as long as Kaldichwolg Its worn on her left arm as a large bracer that covers her arm from her wrist to 6 inches beyond the elbow. Its made of the same silver white metal the Makkakyu Kaldichwolg is made from the two are connectable as Wynebgwrthucher has slot of the 1 foot long hilt in the metal it lays on the inside of the left arm, towards her right arm, allowing her to quickly draw the blade from its resting place in times of combat. The Guard itself has a large red cross carved into it, using solid ruby. In the center of this carving is the Hayasa family crest a burning flame made of gemstones, that was a more recent modification of the Mekkakyu so it could hold more Reishi.

    When the Mekkakyu is not in use as its intended purpose, and worn merely as the guard Koori has disguised it as for 8 years, it sticks out 6 inches past her elbow and defends from her wrist to that point. When its in use as a shield the thing slides 3 inches up her arm, so when she clenches her fist the metal guards her entire hand all the way up to 3 inches past her elbow. Reishi forms a good 2 inches around its edges in the color of its wielders Aura, in the case of Koori a cold reflective blue giving the illusion of rainbows of color depending on the reflection of light. This Reishi edge is razor sharp allowing the shields edge to still be used as a weapon in case of emergencies, and is also why she wears the Quincy Soul Forged Armor, so she doesn't cut herself.

  • CUSTOM POWER Ability: The Mekkakyu Wynebgwrthucher works as a sheild, its main purpose is for defense. However as it is the equivalent to the blade Mekkakyu she wields its powers operate in the same way. It gains power as she absorbs Reishi from the air, this Reishi increases the density of the soul forged Mekkakyu, and the Reishi edge around it, thus making it stronger and more durable.

    However even as a shield it too retains the ability to expel this Reishi like Kaldichwolg. However as the shield is made to be the balance to the blades offense, this ability is manifested as the wielders defense. Wynebgwrthucher is able to expel its massive Reishi density around the user or the target and heal their wounds. Due to the range and the amount of Reishi lost upon traveling distance this heal is much more effective on its owner than their allies.

Living in the presence of Hollow Breeds for the majority of her life Koori has developed a strange more Hollow like spiritual Presence rather than that of normal Quincy. As such her Spiritual Aura is now a black, with ice blue tints that reflect the sunlight making tiny rainbows.

Beginner:  Capable of Manifesting a Hollow mask, gains "Masked" as a free Technique. can manifest mask in two actions. It has a duration of five rounds with a cooldown of four rounds.
Basic: Gain "Acidic Reiatsu" as a free technique. can Manifest mask in one action. It has a duration of seven rounds with a cooldown of three rounds.
Intermediate: "Gain Descorrer" as a free technique.You can Manifest mask in one action. It has a duration of ten rounds with a cooldown of two rounds.
Advanced:Gain "Negación" as a free technique.Mask can be Manifested for no actions and has an indefinite duration.
Master: Gain's the ability to use "Gran Ray Cero" as a free Technique.
Grandmaster: Gains + 20 to defense, and gains "Hierro Reiatsu" As a free technique.

>Flavor Description: Each personal Knight had their own custom Armor. Made either for them by a blacksmith, or by them after being trained by their family. A Quincy who has learned how to manipulate Reishi can actually condense Reishi into solid atoms. Those who know enough about science and molecular formulae can even create metals from thin air. However this takes a lot of Reishi, and a lot of time to do. Using a period of a month total Koori herself fashioned a custom suit of armor for herself this suit of armor consisted of full plate mail and half plate mail pieces of Quincy Soul Silver, and other variations of the metal she made using her Reishi manipulation talents.

Using the same designs and markings as a Sanrei glove using the cloth of the armor, so on a bigger scale she was able to multiply the Reishi dispelling field effect to a greater scale possible via just a glove or other bracer forcing her body to cope with new ways of absorbing and dispersing Reishi around her. However to balance this out she also designed a series of “Reishi Circuits” within the armor itself allowing her to bypass using her body as the battery conduit most other Quincy do. Storing the Reishi she absorbs around her in the armor itself and the “Reishi Circuits” that run through it she can “Starve” her body of spiritual power forcing it to find that power from somewhere else, trying to force herself to be more like Atrum or a Shinigami, or a Fullbring to draw out the latent power in one’s OWN spiritual powers not the powers from around themselves like other Quincy as Reishi cannot get past the armor via absorption only through direct attacks from other Quincy.

Absorbing Reishi into the armor gives the “Circuits” that run through it the tell tale glow of light blue of a Quincy, running all throughout her armor in cryptic designs and patterns. Due to the difference of the Sanrei Armor to the Sanrei gloves purpose the Armor doesn’t have a “Release” so it cannot give the Quincy an immediate boost of power if taken off. However it gives the Quincy a chance to awaken their dormant abilities if they don’t use their powers while not wearing it, as it can force the human body being exposed to so much spiritual phenomena to awaken a spiritual effect. If you need a accurate description for this, it’s like going through Detox for drugs in the human body except instead of drugs it’s the ability to process and use Reishi.

>Effect: Functions as a Sanrei glove like other Quincy, however cannot be “Released” to allow her to activate a second release. As it functions like a normal Sanrei which purpose is to restrict Reishi manipulation around the user except on a much larger scale it affects everyone around her so it requires a Reishi Manipulation skill rank of Advanced or higher to manipulate Reishi in a melee range around her.

If the Armor is taken off she will not be able to use her Quincy powers of Reishi Manipulation meaning that wearing the armor is the only way she can fight until she masters her abilities. However functions like a Reishi battery allowing her to do things with the Reishi through the amplifying Reishi Silver and other metals that she wouldn’t be able to do with her human body.

When she uses a ”Charge” technique of hers such as “Reishi Charge” she gains “Ambient Energy” Stored in her Armor. This Ambient energy is mechanically equal to C (C = 1/4th of the buff effect generated via the Charge ). This Ambient energy can be used as a substitute for healing herself from wounds, however this uses up the Ambient Energy and none is left over afterwards in the armor forcing her to charge again if she wants to use the effects again.

The cost of healing ones wounds are Equal to the costs of an equally as powerful Kaido spell.

Character Parameters

Height & Weight Koori is small for her race and age, shes four foot nine inches, and weighs about 90 pounds. Her metabolism is all kinds of screwed up and her body reacts like a child's would. Physically she appears to be a nine to twelve year old girl at first glance.

Hair & Eye Colour Koori has black hair, coal black. This black hair is straight in the back and sides and goes down to her mid back curling at the ends slightly. However this is hardly noticeable as she wears a ribbon to tie up her hair, this ribbon tends to be red or black depending on whether or not she is out Hollow hunting. Her bangs are shorter than the rest of her hair, only being a few inches and not long enough to curl they fall into her icy blue eyes annoying her when shes trying to read.

Noticable Difference The first odd thing a person should notice about Koori is her body's size. She's tiny, and built like a twig. She looks like a nine to twelve year old girl just looking at her body. she can normally be spotted by the red or black ribbon in her hair that she uses to tie it up, and serve no other purpose. She also wears glasses when she’s not out hunting hollows as they're merely for appearance and provide no actual benefits to her vision.

Koori has a relaxed posture, as she’s relaxed in her life, she walks slow but runs fast, and she likes to swing her legs when she sits on things tall enough. She has a very calm personality however when it comes to swordplay she likes to think of herself as really good at it, and won’t hesitate to attempt to brag. Sometimes she can get excited about something and tries to communicate about it in a hurried manner.

Koori has a lean body, one that is made more for running then for straight up physical combat. She’s made easily for speed rather than power, and she uses that physical build of hers as a sword fighter and a user of the bow rather than punching people. This doesn’t mean her physical combat skills are lacking, she may not be a master of martial arts, but she isn’t a slouch in fist to fist combat either. She’s just more likely to break then her opponent is if her opponent is made for it. She’s more lithe and flexible then bulky.

Normally when walking around the Serietei she wears a Kimono over her soul reaper clothes. her soul reaper clothes lack a shirt or overcoat as thats the Kimono's job so underneath it she wears straps to cover the parts of her body that are feminine to prevent people from being distracted and the shinigami Shihakushō bottom half (The pants). Truthfully though it really isn't like she needs them that much having a lacking chest area.

The Kimono is white as snow with a deep blue at the end of the sleeves. She ties it with a red and orange ribbon. Her Shihakusho pants are an orange color that have white triangles at the bottom and it can been seen under the kimono. The sides of her Shihakusho pants open at her waist allowing some skin to be revealed this is so she can wear her Zanpakuto close to her body. She wears a pair of arm guards as well to defend her wrists to her elbows from taking damage via enemy weapons.

Koori's sealed zanpakuto is a katana of simple design, yet with an abnormal blade size. The hilt and pommel are made of gold, and the sheath is made of the holy Yew tree with gold framing. It is worn under her Kimono tied to her waist under her Shihakushō pants by a golden ribbon, and is the reason why her Shihakusho pants open at her waist.


Shikai Appearance:
"The Fastest Road to Perfection"

Her release phrase when spoken with her blade drawn changes the shape of the blade and sheath of her Zanpakuto. Her released Zanpakuto is a pair of golden gauntlets that go to her elbows and a pair of golden Greaves that go up to her mid thigh. The fingers on the gauntlets are made of yew wood with gold on the top of them meaning that the knuckles of the gauntlet are made of the same wood. She uses these to beat her enemies senseless with her fists and legs as a Hakudo expert.

Even though the bottom of the gauntlets are made of yew wood, they bend like cloth and do not hinder her finger movements. The reason for this is unknown and she really doesn't care even when asked about it.

Shikai Abilities: Koori's shikai gives her the ability to control her own Acceleration. This allows her to move faster and not only hit her enemies faster but also harder. She takes advantage of this ability by using it in her Hakudo fighting style, and to chase or flee from enemies if needed.

She has also taken it to her advantage and can use the ability during flash step to increase her speed even further, if she is willing to pay for the exhausting drain her speed during flash step can even help her out maneuver her enemy in combat.

This is for after she actually dies.

Holy Yew of Supplication: Custom Skill.
The tree family of Taxaceae also known as the Yew family of tree was a holy tree during ancient times in England. This faint connection through her family line know as "The Lake" for how large and deeply rooted it is to this land has manifested in the form of the Yew wood forming her blades sheath and even in her Shikai form forming the underside of the hands and the knuckles of the gauntlets.

All species of yew contain highly poisonous alkaloids known as Taxanes, with some variation in the exact formula of the alkaloid between the species. All parts of the tree except the Arils contain the alkaloid. This is even present in her weapon as the Yew is part of her Zanpakuto when striking an enemy she can poison them via the physical damage of the blade or Shikai.

Beginner: Gains "Yew's Touch" As a free Technique.
Basic: at 30 Poison damage the enemy loses 20 Strength at 5 Stamina per round cannot be stacked.
Intermediate: at 40 poison damage the enemy loses 30 speed for 8 Stamina per round cannot be stacked.
Advanced: At 50 Poison damage the enemy loses 40 Spirit for 10 stamina per Round cannot be stacked.
Master: At 60 Poison damage the abilities of the above ranks can stack for a total cost of 23 stamina per turn.
Grandmaster: At 70 poison damage the enemy loses an action for the cost of 10 stamina. Stacks with lower ranks.

Yews Touch
Passive, upon contact with blade or Shikai.
Upon damage with the blade of her Zanpakuto, or her Shikai deals extra damage equal to Y
(Y = Spirit + (Holy Yew of Supplications rank above beginner * 10) This damage is resisted via the Defense stat, however is not physical it is within the body and is a separate thing. If the enemy is hit multiple times the amount stacks with itself however if it is below the targets defense stat this damage does nothing to the enemy. As the number on this "Yew" Damage number rises, causing various negative effects in the enemy depending on Koori's rank in this skill. Once this number vs Defense hits Dominance level the amount of poison in the enemies body is fatal. This number drops by 10 per round even if it is applied the same round it drops. the enemy can spend an action to drop this number by their defense.

Acceleration | Direct Power:
Description: Upon activation of her Shikai Koori gains control over her own acceleration. This allows her to move faster than her enemies and out manuver them in combat. As an added benifet it also allows her to attack faster than her enemies as well as hit harder because of just how fast shes moving.

It should also be noted she can partially use her speed from flash step from this ability and maintain it in combat. Using this speed and her Hakuda techniques allow her to survive in the middle of the chaos of combat despite her small frame and tiny body.

Effect: This gives her a passive boost of X to her speed for a cost of X/10 its active. As an added benefit she also gets X/2 added to her attack speed as well as her attack damage.
(X = 10*Zanpakuto Resonance rank + 5*Hohō Rank.)

Upon saying these words while her blade is drawn or her shikai is released activates her bankai. Her gauntlets and grieves of Gold and Yew remain on her body while she maintains acceleration control over her body. Her Bankai gives her control over her momentum allowing her to move and strike slightly faster than ever before. However this is best used in various attacks, Strikes, and techniques to her enemies bodies.

Mechanics: This gives her a passive + 5 to speed/Attack speed.

Reiatsu Manipulation|Direct Power

Flavor: Twi can manipulate his own Reiatsu and solidify it into solid objects with his spiritual pressure. This diminishes his own allowing him to create the perfect camouflage if he wishes to be invisible to spiritual beings he can use this to do that. As the creation is made from his own Reiatsu it is a part of him, and as such they have the same mind, if it has eyes they both see what one see’s, if it has a brain their brains are networked, this is instantaneous and works near flawlessly as they are the same being to the very core. This can backfire as well, if it has nerves it can feel pain, which means he can feel the pain if he doesn’t shut off the nerves fast enough.

Mechanics: Using the pool of Reiatsu at his disposal he can divide it up amongst objects or creatures he creates using this power. This depletes numbers from his actual Reiatsu and stamina, however pumps them into these creations. All creations have two stats, Spirit which they attack at if possible, and Defense which they resist at if their defense is broken they are immediately destroyed and seemingly the Reiatsu dissipates.

The Reiatsu returns to Twi 1 Round after destruction, or instantly when he deconstructs a creation at the cost of 1 action.

This decreases his stats temporarily for a creation that has two actions and its own stamina pool based off ½ its stats. The Reiatsu pumped into a creation is always divided by two, one half for each stat, as such pumping 1 into a creation would result in a 0/1 Creation having a higher defense than spirit so it can survive in the physical world. Pumping 2 into a creation would give it 1/1 and it would have a total of 1 stamina, this is how this system works, as he works to master this power he gains a very limited pool from which he can draw his power to not have to spend his own Reiatsu to create things, allowing him to fight if he needs too. This also forces all of his stats to be even amongst each other.

(Example 100 Reiatsu = 25 for each stat)

Weapons created this way each take technique slots given via the supplementary custom skill and only have 1 stat, Spirit, and allow him to attack at their spirit stat for no stamina cost, or his spirit stat + its spirit stat for the cost of 1 * Rank in the supplementary skill, they also do not deplete from his stamina pool as they are physically connected to his body. These weapons are broken to an unusable degree if they are used against a direct hit at Advantaged Attacker or a glancing hit at Superior Attacker.

Beginner rank: 0 Reiatsu pool for creations.

Basic Rank: 5 Reiatsu Pool for creations.

Intermediate rank: 10 Reiatsu pool for Creations.

Advanced rank: 15 Reiatsu pool for creations.

Master rank: 25 Reiatsu pool for creations.

Grand master Rank: 50 Reiatsu pool for creations.

Using a weapon created by his Reiatsu for a specific type of combat allows him to buff or gain certain abilities in combat via his inherent knowledge of how the weapon works. Studying the weapon in real life gives him the knowledge to re-create it perfectly using his power, and as its part of his very soul allows him to do amazing things with said weapon.

Beginner: Gains 1 Weapon Creation slot which can grant a boost at “+5*Rank” for a single stat at the cost of 1 stamina per rank.

Basic: Gains 1 Weapon Creation slot which can grant a boost at “+10*Rank” For a single stat for the cost of 2 stamina per rank.

Intermediate: Grants 1 additional Weapon Creation Slot which can grant a boost at “+10*Rank” for a single stat at the cost of 2 stamina per rank.

Advanced : Grants 1 Additional Weapon Creation slot which can grant a boost at “10* rank” for two stats at the cost of 4 stamina per rank.

Name: Drago Vladimir Trenden
Age: 535 Years old, 34 Years Human, 1 year as a plus, 365 Year as a Shinigami, 135 Years as an Arrancar.
Gender: Male.
Aspect of Death: Drago as a Shinigami tried to become something more, physically he was strong enough to beat his Inner darkness. Mentally he broke against the emotional strain it unleashed, driving the once proud and noble Shinigami to destruction. He seeks to re-establish absolute control and purity over his physical form to deny the hollow being that he has become and to reforge his soul clean and to be redeemed in death.

Loyalties: Drago currently has no loyalties to anyone, being alone in the endless void of a desert known as Hueco Mundo.

The visible spectrum of the Dark.

Height & Weight Drago stands at 5’10” and weighs 179 pounds.

Hair & Eye Colour Drago’s eyes are a deep crimson red, like two pools of blood surrounding the black slitted shape that is his pupil. His hair is a pale white like the moon of the human world that he used to live under with the rest of the mortals, his hair is long and well taken care of, and drapes harmlessly around his face on either side.

Noticeable Difference Drago’s most noticeable difference is the fact that even though he was once a Shinigami he is now a different thing all together, he has a hollow hole located at his left bicep that makes it so he has no left arm that is visible most people miss the fact his Hollow hole takes up what’s left of his left arm. When he’s in darkness or shadows the area where his left arm was besides for a perfectly circular hole about 4 inches wide seems to be physical as if the arm is still there but only in the darkness. This shadowy appendage can be used as his arm, and is arguably what remains of the limb that was consumed by his inner Hollow and the change from a pure being, to a Hollow one.

Drago’s body is lithe and light, made for sword fighting and speed; he takes advantage of this in combat and is probably the only reason why he wasn’t decimated by Hollows after his loss of power. His body frame closely resembles that of a woman, curves at his stomach before his hips like an hourglass which then goes into his lithe duelist legs. His body is clear of scars, and has no battle wounds besides the lack of a left arm.

His hair falls past his hips and shimmers in the light, and is always well kept even for a monster living in the desert for generations.

Normally as an Arrancar he wears a black leather Trenchcoat, that covers his upper body except for the chest. Underneath this he doesn’t wear a shirt as he has yet to claim one after recovering control of his body from his Inner Hollow. His pants are the remains of his black Shinigami uniform and he wears them casually even though they are torn and freyed at the ends. Around his wrists are a pair of shackles the chained ends once intact and held him in check while he fought the beast within broken and destroyed, however sense forever losing the key he has been unable to take them off.

His Gigai which he stole from the Gotei 6 before exiling himself in Hueco Mundo to become a Vizard has both of its arms, and retains full function of them even though he himself only has the left arm in darkness. Its hair length and color are the same as his, however its eye’s are a pair of jade pools to not distress mortals with an unnatural color of eye, or unnatural shape of one’s pupils.

The clothes he normally wears in the mortal world are more modern than his spiritual clothes. He normally wears black or grey dress jackets, with white or light blue undershirts with black slacks or jeans. He dresses like this casually unbuttoned for relaxation and comfort. He never wears a tie, and wouldn’t be caught dead in an actual suit. As a curse of his looks, most mortals think he is actually a woman from seen from behind which tends to piss him off.

TMI?: Drago is left handed, even though he lost this arm to his Hollow unnaturally. So he learned how to fight with a blade in his right hand to defend himself. However this is retained in his Gigai and when he has his left arm in the Dark area’s which he prefers to stay.

He still uses his Zanpakuto as a weapon, however he no longer wears it on his person as he doesnt need too.

The spirit within the blade lay dead at the hands of Drago’s inner Hollow, however the blade itself is fine and maintained by the now dormant hollow instinct that once was within Drago himself. As such the blade is dented and worn, however as sharp and useful as it once was via the care and love Drago puts into the blade sharpening and cleaning it with his spiritual pressure.

What still lingers in the Dark.

Hollow Power: Drago’s power is the manipulation, creation, and control of Darkness, and shadows. Originnally this was the power of his Zanpakuto however when he lost his heart and body to his Inner Hollow his body actually manifested this power by itself without a secondary source such as his spiritual companion and blade. He can darken the area around him literally devouring the light itself at some points even destroying the light sources themselves depending on what they are. Create spears of solid darkness, other weapons he can use, use it to maneuver from location to location, open gaps from shadow to shadow allowing him to store things in one location and access them somewhere else.

Had an idea for my powers, saving them here for later dates. Im just throwing things out there really.

Mizūmi no Hansha (湖の反射) "Reflection of the Lake" | Direct

Description:Koori's Hollow side is contained by armor plating that is designed to prevent any Reiatsu from leaving the wearers body. Making Koori appear as a plain normal human. However if she was to remove these plates her Hollow Reiatsu is released as well as her own allowing her access to her Hollow power ontop of her normal Quincy power. However this has also developed a power of its own. Using her armor and her sword as Conduits her Instinctual mastery over Reishi and Ginto as a power source, Koori can create a body for her Hollow side to inhabit and use for a periodic amount of time.

Effect: Creates a clone of Koori that costs 1 stamina for every 50 Reiatsu put into it. This clone has all of Koori's skills except Ginto. It has its Reiatsu divided by 2 for its own stamina pool and can only use her Techniques that are not related to Ginto. Its Reiatsu cannot go higher than Koori's. This Powers rank is affected by her Hollow power Skill rank + Her Reishi Manipulation skill rank divided by two and rounded down. (Master + Master = Master, Grandmaster + Grandmaster = Grandmaster, Grandmaster + Master = Master, Basic + Basic = Basic, Basic + Beginner = Beginner)

Beginner: Can Manifest Hollow side physically, costs half of all Ginto until double is destroyed. Only has 1 Action. Can not use Hollow Power. Requires 1 round of its own to manifest. Can survive for a total of 3 rounds for its original stamina cost per round with a cooldown of 2 rounds.


Basic: Costs a Quarter of all Ginto until destroyed, only has 1 action, Can use Hollow power. Requires 2 actions to manifest. Can survive for a total of 5 rounds for its original stamina cost per round with a cooldown of 1 rounds.


Intermediate: Costs a Quarter of All Ginto until destroyed, Only has 1 Action, Can use Hollow power and Quincy power. Requires 1 action to manifest. Can survive for a total of 7 rounds for its original stamina cost per round without a cooldown.


Advanced: Costs No Ginto to Manifest, Only has 1 Action, can use both powers. Requires 1 Action to manifest. Can survive for a total of 10 rounds for its original stamina cost per round.


Master:
Costs No Ginto to Manifest, Has 2 actions of its own, can use both powers. Requires 1 Action to Manifest. Can survive indefinitly without a Stamina cost by feeding off the Reishi around it.


Grandmaster: No Idea yet probably a Rei boost for both parties. Maybe more survival and it can be summoned for a free action at a massive cost?
